R.I.P Counter Strike 1.5

oh no doubt I wouldnt touch counter strike now. but on the new source it shall return to its glory, at least for a little while.

if oyu look at it now the average CS player still has a pretty shitty comp unable to play HL2. so the community will definatly improve alone from weeding out those people. not to mention there are ways to protect against cheaters and asshats nowadays that just wernt present back in the CS haydays.. so hopefully the support will be stronger on this new engine...

Yeah because the AwP is harder to use than the bolt driver

The principles in both CS and PS are the same, control your fire to keep your accuracy. Only differences are it takes less shots to kill someone in CS and the CoF bloom is generally smaller in PS.

Either way, Counter-Strike sucks

CS is much more twitch based than PS, which is more about tactics. Personally i dislike PS because it takes so long to kill people, and theres no location damage. I know the reason for the lack of location damage, but that doesnt mean i have to like it.

I have a friend who cant play 1.6 his comp is that bad. He can barely play 1.5
