I saw a Galaxy with a tank on it yesterday landing on the airpad of a bio-dome. Shit blew up before the tank could get off of the galaxy.

Can people spawn on top of the galaxy like that?

Cool video man. Makes me wonder if vehicles are really too numerous/OP, or if the playerbase itself has not adapted to the current battle situation and taken appropriate actions.

Yes but when we tried the randoms who spawned from it just ran forward assuming it was on the ground and ran off the gal, dying horribly.

I think the only vehicle that gets spammed too hard from the ground vehicles are sunderers. Tanks and such have so many things that can kill them and with tank mines getting more and more popular, tanks really have it hard.

Thank you for confirming this.
You are going to want the airframe for your galaxy that improves VTOL, otherwise you are going to take 12 years to get to about 100 metres in the air.
Also you can do it in the warpgate.
Set the gal up near one of the beams of the centre part so you can drive straight down it in the sundy and turn near the end to drive stright onto the gal.
In the air if you wana move the sundy driver has to counterbalance the gal otherwise it will flip and you will both die horribly.

Well I figured it'd be rather impractical for actual combat, but since The Mobile Infantry are suppose to be a Light Assault Outfit I figure it'd be great for HALF training.

I still wish they had some kind of low-power all-purpose mine so we could lay actual minefields like we did ten years ago.

Makes senses, makes sense. But I would encourage you to do the following tests:
See if a scythe can lift a sundy
See how tanks respond to being on a gal's back
Do infantry/MAXs respond well to being on a Gal's back? (can they shoot effectively)
Can you repair mid air?
Do AA lock on missiles work correctly when fired from mid air?
Do the physics of a deployed sundy work differently than one that's mobile?
Where in a biolab is a sundy best deployed?
Where on a biolab is a sundy best deployed? Can you fit it under cover when on the roof?

Hmm... I need to revisit the tech plant.

Haha ill answer what I know.
Scythes cant lift sundies.
Tanks need to move all the time to keep the gal centered otherwise it flips back and you both die.
MAXs and Infatry can ride on a gals back, you can fire AA missles effectively and repair it mid air. Hardest part is the fact the gals hitbox around the wings and tail is HUGE.
The only physics difference with a deployed sundy is it wont move at all so if the gal tips it wont roll but they do slide a little bit iirc.
Best place to deploy them is just inside the doors so they cant be libbed/rocket podded and have a team of engies keep it up.
Never tried to put one on the roof but from my expereince beig a dick ass LA on the roof there wouldn't be enough room.
