Armour columns getting you down?

So we were getting our shit kicked in by tank spam on indar and one guy in our outfit just comes up with this idea of dropping out of a gal with tank mines and rocket launchers. Then the madness started. 2 drops to decimate an entire armour column. It was madness people were calling us mad in the warpgate, but we knew better, by god did we know better.

The purpose of this thread though is to discuss how you,your outfit or how you've seen people deal with tank spam. Also another GAB video

Given enough people I prefer to fill the air between us and the magriders (it's always magriders) with rockets.

This absolutely epitomises Planetside for me. Doing crazy things and having fun doing them was always the most satisfying thing for me.

It's all the more sweeter when those crazy things actually work. I wish more people would try the more off the wall stuff instead of bemoaning balance all the time.

I think Mines are so broken atm but I wanna know what server you're on because that never happens with me. If I drop in anywhere I instantly die as that drop pod is a massive arrow saying kill me to anything around.

Really SOE need to make MBT a multi person vehicle like the Lib or how they were in Planetside. They need to redesign the bases so it isn't vehicles camping spawns and doorways. They need to create more infantry areas.

I play on Briggs, i think mines are in a decent place, 100 certs for the ability to instagib a mbt without mineguard (with a mbt can eat two mines and live with it maxed a mbt can eat all 3 mines you can place and a 4th) Most of the time we drop in no one pays us much attention for fuck knows what reason but we usually just waddle up to a tank drop our mines and run. Some times however someone with half a braincell sees us drop and puts two and two together and starts railing on us.

Cool vid I have to agree with Canaris on this one man, ideas and crazy tactics like this is what makes PS the fun game that it is. Throw K/D ratio to the side (it has no rewards anyway) and just have fun with the game. Thinking of new ways to put it to the enemy, its what makes Planetside the game it is today.

P.S. And mines are not broken, ANTI TANK MINE, its what they do. But if it makes you feel beter you can add a anti mine kit to your tank.
