I thought it would be a promotional temporary thing that everyone gets and goes away later. But having to buy it with 700sc? lol

airstrikes
enemy sunderers
request assistance
etc....

It really doesn't seem that dependable or accurate. The "firework" seems to go off somewhere within 20 feet of where ever the projectile stops. It doesn't work well when it lands on the ground, and the type of explosion changes from very visible to "did anything happen?"

it only goes away if you make it bounce . firing straight up works just fine

Its a real weapon - but the worst real weapon in the game.

Kind of like a....... flare gun.

I love my fireworks gun! It should do damage after it bounces though so I can shoot around corners.

I wish the flare lingered in the air for longer than 3 seconds. Something like a 15 or 20 second float time to the ground would be awesome. Funny enough it actually does a great job lighting the area up at night. Now only if it was actually dark.

I hate that goddamn gun. It's kinda hard to take the game seriously when the horizon looks like tokyo on new years eve. It's just beyond silly.

I got killed by one, it was not fun.

It happened on indar excavation site.

A Vanu infiltrator hit me with it from behind and cloacked before I could retaliate.

If he was using a smg he would have killed me on the first uncloack.

But no, he needs to troll everyone, so he hit me 3 times from behind with it, just to make me mad! He must be the king of trolls!

I also think it can do headshot damage, the first time I got hit with it, I was almost dead, I tought the damage was the same as a undetonated grenade lancher, but checking here, looks like it is smaller.

Ive been killed by it. It has its purpose though, it let's me know when my faction has a facility spawn camped, they get bored and spam it, I can see it from quite far.

It's a Clownside 2 item for sure that deteriorates the badass scifi experience I was hoping to have with this game. Although I've given up that idea long time ago.

So what's next, Higby's Hair Helmet?

The more this game is turning into a cheap Team Fortress 2 clone, the more I'm looking fwd to games like Star Citizen that actually understand what bad-ass scifi means.

I completely agree with you man, I bought one and its so fun to kill people with. I think some people are taking this game a bit too seriously for complaining about this. In fact one of the members in my outfit last night used it as a distraction to take down a vanguard. He shot it in another direction and the vanguard went over to check it out while a LA from my outfit came over and c4ed the vanguard when he wasnt looking.

He could've used a rocket launcher also..
I think we have enough fun items in game, all the helmets, camos and vehicle mods..
