Buff Fireworks Gun

I'd like it to have some use. Damage to vehicles maybe? Damage after it bounces, damage on explosion? Something. I know it's just a trivial weapon but again I'd like if it had some use.

Yeah, it does damage. But it has to be a direct hit, and it doesn't do damage after it bounces or explodes.

Doesn't it exist solely to light up the night sky?

so this silly thing is really implemented as a real weapon, you will be able to use whenever you want?

so now it´s really time for clown noses, purple unicorn masks and nude "camos". there is no seriousness left to ruin any more.

i don´t have a problem with funny holiday things like santa hats at christmas or pumpkin bombs at halloween, but permanent troll items are a nogo for a wargame.

They are getting to be annoying as hell. I hope the novelty wears off sometime soon.

Why not just turn them into regular flare guns after the event is over?

Also after the event is over sell a statisticaly identical flaregun that doesnt turn ijto fireworks during events.

Problem solved and moar monies for SOE. Everyione is happy.

The whole uproar over how horrible SOE is, for releasing a novelty weapon is kind of hilarious.

I'm sorry folks, but if you take your Planetside time so seriously that you can't tolerate a fireworks gun... it's time to reevaluate. I swear if SOE sent everyone puppies, there would be complaints on the forums about how some people didn't want that breed of puppy.

And the question in my mind, is how visible is it at range. That is what we need to know, it may function like a half-way decent flare gun as is. Has anyone actually checked?

our outfit is in the process of asking all the squad leader to have it as a obligatory tool.

look at it this way you can use it as a real flare

marking landing zones
airstrikes
enemy sunderers
request assistance
etc....

Does it last long enough for any of those applications? The effect seems pretty short-lived.

I'd prefer you just be able to drop squad smoke from the comms rose. Stil, having a 30 second air flare would be nice.
