I agree that it could have been a shotgun had it not been in PS1 already.

They could still recycle the old pulsar design into a shotgun though so I guess we'll have to wait & see in beta.

Absolutely!

Any time I see a picture of PS2 I giggle a little and say, "Damn! I can't believe that's an MMO!", because it looks so nice. It really does!

I'm not gonna lie, I always had issues with the Lasher, so I got pretty good with the Pulsar. The accuracy and versatility allowed me to handle mid to long range targets of all types, even some vehicles. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new Pulsar is capable of doing in the battlefield.

The preview image looks a bit boxy with the angle and lighting, but I'm pretty sure it'll have more depth and detail when we use it in realtime.

Definitely agree with Basti here...I'm not that keen on the new model..it looks paper thin and very odd. Much prefer the previously shown Pulsar if indeed that is what it was.

Looks like a mess to me, but I'm NC, so whatever.

They could've just gone with the old Pulsar design. That was pretty good looking for some sort of alien assault rifle.

This one looks badass. The old one was too bulky and bumpy for a VS weapon imo. Just compare it to original lasher or lancer...
