I just want my old school arsenal to be retained, is that too much to ask? Why the need to make a whole new gun to replace something we've grown to love for nearly a decade? Keep the Fission as is, work on giving the VS their Lancer. |

Shhhh! Are you crazy? They might give us the Lasher as it now exists in PS1 <.< I do like the idea of having a "dummy" and a "Guided" weapon for each empire. VS Recieve: Fission and Lancer TR Recieve: Striker and Some kind of handheld rapid fire rocklet pod. NC Revieve: Phoenix and the Decimator If you want to model it after BF3, that's what they do. As an infantry AV aficionado, it was by far my favorite weapon against tanks. Powerful, and much longer range, but a bit more difficult to use. Please don't nerf the game play into boredom with all AV being lockon. Same with AA, flak was good and effective. |

Dumbfire rounds for the Fission would pretty much do the job, since the classic Lancer only had one type of shot. Beyond that, I hope to see them as two separate weapons for different usage and specialization on the battlefield at some point.

On one hand, I don't want to nay-say locking weapons without feeling the game first. On the other hand, the Lancer is badass - my favorite AV weapon. |

weird. as always the world ends if vs lose their beloved av weapon they all love...
but i guess the guys who fight for the lancer so hard, are the same guys who rant against the nc camera missile and want it to be gone because it´s so overpowered to shoot from cover... so as always it´s ok for the vs to have advantages, but not for anyone else... if having an av-sniper rifle was not a worthy advantage, why would there be such an uproar now?

The TR have lock-on and dumbfire modes for their AV. Makes sense the VS have two different AV "modes" also, no? If the things are like they were in PS1.
