I think they are lightnings and when the magrider is done they will be mag riders instead.

Although I don't know how they are gonna change that screen shot. Why did you use the VS in the story but NC in the picture XD

People are gonna be confused!

He also appears to enjoy whipping we poor fanbois into a frothing-at-the-pants frenzy.

Or maybe that's just me.

Waaaaayy to big to be lightnings. Check out the Tanks compared to the ATV's. Not to mention the Giant NC Emblem on the front. The Paint Scheme match's the Galaxy's as-well.

No! The MCG must be unique and not cookie cutter.

So you want 10? 3 ain't unique. Trust me. I've seen 3 barrels (practically a staple,) 4 barrels, 5 barrels, 6 barrels (classic, don't dis the classic,) 7 and 8. Don't recall a 9 barrel, but that would look weird, so I vote 10.

Unless you want even more dakka, then we can go 12, but we'll be shooting needles at this point.

I still stand by my 5 stance. I expect weaponry to fire a little faster in PS2 than it did in PS1.

Evidently, you haven't played a lot of games. It's mostly noticeable in RTS' (immediate examples off the top of my head include Command and Conquer and Ground Commander,) since 3 barrels is cheap but convincing enough for the sake of a minigun. I imagine SOE went with 3 barrels not to be original, but because it saved on framerate. We're not working 8v8 or 16v16 matches in predominately CQC maps after all, and tech HAS come a long way. Even moderate PCs can make games look fairly stunning anymore.
