There are millions of people who avoid California like the plague. No amount of sunny West Coast weather can attract someone to a state where the people elect a bunch of politicians that make 200 crack-smoking, masturbating, very territorial homosexual monkeys crammed into a 10-foot-square cage look like the House of Lords by comparison.

They should post warning signs: "Warning: If you think the politicians here are crazy, remember, they were elected by those people you see wandering the streets."

And there he goes again, with his G-d's loving kindness towards everyone but homosexuals. I wonder if I've seen Traak at the Westboro Baptist Church protests holding a sign that says "God Hates ****".

I don't get why the guy is deluding himself that he can hide the past, *IF* that's the case. I don't personally care what he did. What I do care about is his integrity, even if I'd never vote for the man. I can respect a guy who says "Yeah I sexually harassed some chick. I wanted to hit that shit. I made a mistake. I'm sorry." Even if deep down he doesn't mean it.

I mean, seriously... how many politicians in this day and age have actually been faithful to their spouse? Shit happens. Nobody outside of family really cares. We have our own issues to deal with.

Just one time I'd like to see someone man up and say something like "Okay. The internet is gonna bust me, or Andrew Breitbart is gonna nail me. Might as well be honest."

See my last post. First sentence, tail end. Here, let me quote it for you.

Since you addressed me, and this issue, I will answer:

God loves everyone, Firefly. However, sin destroys people. Even when they are doing it alone. That's why God hates sin. Not because it is part of your favorite Alternative Lifestyle, but because it brings death. Mainlining heroin when you have no need of any anesthetics isn't wrong because it feels good. It's wrong because it destroys you.

God isn't against people. He's against them doing things that are destructive to themselves and others. People don't hate their kids when they tell them not to drink poison. They are not trying to deprive them of the delicious lemon-scented flavor when they tell them not to drink Windex. But kids who run around trying to induce younger kids to drink Windex are going to be opposed. Not because they are cool, hip purveyors of alternative drinkstyles, but because it is toxic.

There is pleasure in sin, for a season. Then the season ends. But the death doesn't.

Meanwhile, how about an increasing level of taxation that includes tarriffs on stuff made in China, where the trade ratio is around what, 1,000,000 to 1?

What could encourage Americans to actually start manufacturing again?

Our tax system is broke because its 5000 pages long and supports an entire industry that benefits from it being obfuscated, not because of the style of taxes it presents.

I feel I should just point out that the best science points to politicians with the lowest magnitudes of integrity as being the most successful at passing their legislation and the highest percentage of campaign promises kept.

Ruthlessness and underhandedness in my book should be qualifiers for being the President of the US.

FDR, Kennedy, Adams, TR, and Clinton were Sleezes, but reigned under the best years of some of the US's history in terms of positive growth.
