I'm not trying to troll or anything, but are you aware that many operating systems have a nifty function built into them that allows you to print the screen? You know, a screenshot.... Would be nicer than fuzzy photos of your desktop with PS2 loaded up.

I've never understood why you do that. Maybe light can be shed on it in this thread...

Re: Dear Higby

I asked this from a friend of mine who runs a corporation or two and he was guessing around with a few possibilities

1) Company computers that have confidental stuff might only be connected to the company intranet with a seperate "surfing computer" for internet use. This way the company stuff doesnt get leaked out if someone tries to attack from the outside.

2) Something to do with NDA. Although I doubt he does this without someones permission, but still..

I bet it's easier for him to take the photos on his smartphone (which is probably sync'd with his Twitter account) and just push one button to immediately post the photo to his Twitter.

Dear Higby,

The photos you send are awesome, as is the wonderful frequency and number of said photos. Please take them in the easiest way possible.

Signed,

Zachariah, plus anyone who agrees with him underneath this thread post.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure he mentioned that it was just a lot easier to take a pic with his phone and upload it, than have to take a screenshot and crop it with some image editing program and upload it. Fuzzy pictures are better than no pictures

this is what he has said before and the reason he uploads pics via his phone.

still though, you would think in a play test he could just hit the print screen button everynow and again and upload em to us. or atleast take the phonos in widescreen...but you dont need my tips to take photos higby :/

Offer them finger, they grab whole hand. Ungrateful people. If you want better pictures, buy him better phone.

But i expect that Higby shake with his hand while taking pictures on purpose, so its blurry and more mysterious.

You're... You're serious. A better phone is what I asked about (/sarcasm). These forums sometimes....

I'm not ungrateful for the pictures at all. I enjoy the content updates. However, computers have been able to take screenshots since forever... So because it takes 50 more seconds to upload it to twitter is the issue?

Screenshots require more scrutiny, they go through an approval process where lots of folks from lots of departments get sign off before being released on the website. Taking photos of my desktop or other peoples for "behind the scenes" pics with my phone and tweeting them is a loophole that everyone is mostly cool with.
