I wanna know how this compares to an MCG, seems almost the same from the description. If the LMGs are ment for up close, low accuracy sustained fire, they work as an alternative for NC and VS, but don't really make sense for TR.

Pretty sure from the outline we already know the answer.

I really liked the smoother model in that earlier screenshot and assumed it was the Cycler. If this is an earlier iteration can we have it back? The model just revealed is too clunky, looks like something the NC would bash together.

I really thought the teardrop drum of the original Cycler was iconic, I'm sad to see it not coming back.

It is mentioned that this weapon is for heavy assault, shouldn't this be the longer range option to the MCG (as the MCG doesn't have sights and likely wont' be accurate at great ranges). A short ranged LMG doesn't make sense.

I think they mean this is the heavier version of the cycler, so it has less range than the normal MA cycler.

The model in that SS is the cycler in its MA form that will be used by the Light Assault class. The version in the OP is the HA version of a cycler.

No I understand that this is the light machine gun variant of the Cycler assault rifle and not the normal Cycler. But the teaser outline screenshot confirms that the Cycler must be the last unrevealed weapon, and looks like the shorter version of this Cycler ARV, and not like that smoother weapon from the earlier screenshot.

i think the the one i liked may still be around, but as an SMG, more equivalent to the pulsar. you will notice both have no under rail attachments.

Actually it says 20 foot barrel. I think the close range refers to low orbit space ships.

Absolutely hideous looking, if its for cqb then it should be short and compact, you run about looking like a pole vaulter with that THING !!!!

Is this the start of the silly designs creeping in. Please chop at least 16" off the thing.

Really keep it with in the ethos of plantside not this horrible Bang stick.

the whole heavy class is made for close quarters, this looks to be the gun that while still decent in CQC, but has some range on it so it can at least offer suppression fire at distances.

I think it will look rather small when a heavy is holding it
