For this particular video, really wasn't trying to draw any comparisons. I simply had better comedy material for NC than the VS, and TR fit well as attackers since I could easily work in an Enclave plug.
However, for actual WWII faction comparisons I think I cast the TR well. TR fit well as Russians, though their empire military doctrine seems to be more German (blitzkrieg - fast attack, overwhelming rate of fire - mg42, etc). You could read TR as "The Reds" And Like the Russians, the TR are the most backwards tech-wise.
As for Nazis, I agree that the VS fit better. The VS belief in transcending the human race seems sells it for me. The advanced military is another quality, and seem like the empire most likely to conduct horrific experiments without a pesky conscience interfering. They come off as a much bigger threat to humanity than the TR.
NC fit well as America of course for obvious reasons. The industrial might, experimental weaponry, ideology, and even corporate greed - all fits.

Glad y'all liked it. Figured you wouldn't mind a plug and being painted as NC's last hope. I particularly liked the others in the room exchanging "oh shit" glances after they find out SG won't be coming.
I tried to capture some of the forum angst and current events - E3, the cactus, light assault solo whoring fears, NC music, vehicles without gunners, air superiority, bailing out of aircraft, COD/BF3 influence, silly camos and customizations, TKing, quick knife, etc.
I also mixed in an overtone of Enclave doctrine and belief in the value of heavy infantry, especially in capturing territory and making progress for the empire. Sturm does similar things so it fit that one of the outfits who does the right thing is their last hope, were it not for a vindictive cactus.
