Ok so you're telling me they want to test servers intended for hundreds and perhaps even thousands with a few hundred players. It's a MMO game, a few hundred isn't really MMO.
Can someone explain to me how this makes sense, i honestly can't see it. Edit: Yeah ok Misled that i get, blocking after a certain number makes sense. |

dio: seeing as how they have about 12,000 unhappy closed-beta applicants, i'm pretty sure they have enough submissions to stress test the servers.

The whole point of the open beta is to prepare for retail. Now if you only let x number of ppl in you really dont know how many ppl will buy retail and try to play. If you only let in 10K ppl and 50K buy it within the first month the 40K who wont be able to play isnt going to be very happy.
Anyway if it is open beta then everyone and their dog should be able to get a account and play, othervise it isn�t open. C |
