Another problem

Alright, here I go again: I'll be playing planetside for about 15 minutes and then I will get disconected for no good reason. I've not been able to stay online for a decent amount of time since I had my last problem fixed.

I'm on an AMD 2600 with 1024 MB DDR ram, Ge-Force FX 64 MB, runing Windows 2000 service pack 3. My connection is a networked cable line through a router. My computer is the only system takeing up anything other than a nominal amount of bandwidth(only 1 other computer on the network ATM, and that one just browses the web).

My power suply on my PS computer is dead, so I wont be able to test anything until I get a new case.

Sounds like an issue with whatever router you are running.. you can find info on that here:

thats my router first off update your firmware im assuming you have XP http://www.linksys.com/download/default.asp firmware is there it might take a few tries then type in the ip for the router go to command prompt and type ipconfig and check if need be then find the default gateway then open up Internet explorer or whatever browser you use and then type in the ip you found in command prompt then hit enter and when asked the password it should be admin and theres no user name then hit ok and go the right corner and hit advanced and then DMZ host and where it has the open box ( go back to command prompt and redo the whole ipconfig and find the first one your ip and then put those last 3 numbers in the box and whalla you can host any game and play planetside i hope it helps
