Ok, so I bought this Geforce4 ti4200 a while back from Chaintech (some Chinese company) and one of the heatsinks fell off and immediately the sound stopped working. So I turned off the computer, stuck the heatsink back on, and it worked fine. Now, 2 months later, the heatsink keeps falling off and the sound won't work at all, even with the heatsink in place. I've tried keeping the thing on with electrical tape, but that won't work. Has anyone ever had trouble like this? Btw my motherboard has an onboard sound card rather than having a seperate sound card.

If your graphics card is falling apart you should most definitely send it back and get a new one. Sound problems can be fixed later.
