Yah,
Not sure why Hamma disabled them. We used to have them, but i forgot why he did it (if there was a reason). Lot's of forums have it disabled, not exactly sure why

You can use PHP to parse XML into an IMAGE which you can use on the forums.

We disabled HTML for a variety of reasons, security.. etc. Plus sigbot doesent work with HTML sigs

Hamma, so that must be how some of those free e-mail services that require you to look at a picture and type the word you see work ehh? Thats quite a neat trick...

Web stuff amazes me, the onlything I ever do in HTML is done in notepad, the way HTML was designed to be done

Yea they probably use a similar method..

You can get PHP to manipulate and create images. Then just link to it as if it was an image, then you have an image with "live" data

Also with HTML I could have a full flash game or movie as my sig I'm pretty sure. Not exactly good for people with 56K.

Misc Info

You're talking about the thing in my sig where it shows my stats?

To get that working go here first:
http://www.planetsidegaming.com/psga...ures/stats.php

Insert your characters URL found by typing your name here:
http://myplanetside.station.sony.com...cter_index.jsp

Scroll down to where it says:
Image/Signature

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Possibly the best feature, for those who would like their stats showing in their forum signatures etc. simply link to:

[.img]http://stats.planetsidegaming.com/3/476841/stats.png[./img]

Then a picture of the thing here

You just put the whole url with the img parts in your sig and should show up

[EDIT] Weird, anyone else see the stat thing on Nightwalker at the top of this thread, but toward the bottom, it doesnt show? Only reason I posted this cause Nightcrawler didnt have one
