Do you think that PS will have events on certain dates like halloween and christmas? Wondering because it seems like it would be hard to integrate them even partially realistically or if they'd just do it anyway.

I don't really see what you could do as far as realistic events in a world about shooting nonstop with a bunch of people that you can't force to a Christmas party.
But they might include stuff graphically (Christmas trees in the buildings, Christmas lights in a courtyard, pumpkins on the steps, plastic ghosts in the windows, stuff like that). That would be really cool, especially if they didn't tell anyone they were going to do it. You just logged in one day and there was a Christmas tree in your base.

Well I remember long ago it was stated that there would be "campaigns" or something similar, which would last for a week or something in an unexplored area...

But I'm not sure if this is still part of the game.

Don't forget that all the players will be wearing Santa hats

And on halloween everybody has a pumpkin head a la headless horseman. Easter? We're all driving bunnies not MAXs. Sprink break? Everybody is in cool hawaiin shirts and a pair of cool shades (except TR, they keep their ugly goggles).
