funny things happen at 3 AM eastern

well at 3 AM last night on emerald, there werent many people on ishundar. TR ha djust finished a lock, and people were clearing out
so i must have been one of maybe 30 TR on the contwhen the NC decide to take marduk. So stuff happens down there, and i end up spawning at zaqar, only to find that a max and reinforced are campin me even tho theres no lattice. So after 2 spawns, i take out the reinforced guy with my supressor, and high tail it out of the room with 20 health left. The max decides to not pursue me and continues to camp. Well its a bio lab, so i ran up to that terminal near the med term and got my striker and reinforced, run in and get healed and go downstairs to get revenge. well he obviously wasnt xpecting it, and he must have been damaged cuz i whip around the corner fire one striker missile and he falls. Now what was odd about this was he respawns and kills me as i leave the base and we start chattin. And once again i make friends with an enemy. well final score of our fight was 2 to 2, he killed me once more but then i pulled out in a reaver and well yeah. Now heres whats funny, VS begin to hack lahar, so i tell those guys later and reaver over there. Well theres one Vanu on the whole continent so when i rush the cc i obliterate him with chaingun and secure it. The next 45 minutes are basically a one on one battle for lahar. We struck up a convo and i finally defended it, but not b4 he takes out the gen just for fun. I swear, u have more fun at 3 am than u do at prime time... and u meet some nice people.
