You got it, you just didn't know because they hadn't added that screen yet.
With wireless you'll always lose packets unless you're VERY close (and nothing is blocking) to your transmitter.

Even an 11b network has plenty of throughtput to handle PS (trust me). In fact, once you get associated with the right access point, try slowing your connection down. Force your card to 5mbps.
The slower speed will help keep you from dropping so many packets. PS: If you don't think that 54mbps is enough speed, just think about how fast your internet connection is. Even a T1 (1.54mbps) would easily fit into 54mbps. |

11b is not 54mb/s, that's 11g...
11b does have enough to handle planetside just fine though, I was just playing. If it's just home wireless why don't you just plug in instead?
