Mosquito vs. Sunderer

I tried piloting the galaxy, but that thing is too damn huge, lol... So I forgot that cert and went to the Mosquito, cause its fast as all hell

Anyway, I'm thinking of losing that cert and going with a sunderer... what do you guys think?

Any reason I shouldn't?

I f you like going fast. don't get a sunderer. If you are looking for a transport, and you like going fast, pick up a deliverer.

I personally prefer the Sunderer over the Deliverer. For two reasons:

1>I like the cannons of the Sund more than the MG of the Deliverer.

2>The Deliverer can't transport MAX units while the Sunderer can.

at times i think the sunderers more effective than a tank when u got both guns going... not more powerful mind u but more effective

That being said, the sunderer are pretty good, but have 2 main problems:

1) too many stupid people get in the guns and spam nades all over the place!
2) when you have a competent gun crew, it's easy to get under the guns and blow the crap out of a slow moving sunderer! I've beat one one on one with an enforcer, not to mention I've blown the crap outa tons of them from a vanguard.

The deliverer on another hand is fast enough to get away from tanks, good enough weapons to stop aircraft, and strong enough to blow up magriders (watched 2 fully gunned delliverers destroy 3 magriders yesterday, made me want to cry for joy!)

So if you're dealing with smaller squads go deliverer, let the MAXXES run...

Hehe sunderer is fun, and as for fighting skeeters, just take av, skeeter shows up and keeps out of the fire arc of your guns? stop, pop out, SAY HELLO TO MAH LIL FRIEND!

I prefer sunderer over galaxy because driving a sunderer keeps downtime lower. It seems to take forever and a day for people get aboard galaxies, because you usually have to land it in a weird place away from the base.

Or if you land it in the base, you get bored people who start shooting it, driving over it, idots trying to spin it, random numbsculls jumping in and shooting your guns, forcing you to keep it squad locked... Also when you fly a galaxy someone invarably wants to put their wraith in there... even though they don't know how to get it aboard... sometimes galaxies are just idot magnets.

While in a sunderer people don't usually screw around..they just jump in... if someone is on the other side of the base.. you can drive and pick them up. Because of the lattice now, you don't usually have to travel huge distances to the next base, suiting the sunderer very well (you can also blow stuff up on the way over too).

Also, you can get a sunderer at any tech plant linked base so you really don't give a damn if it gets blown up or stolen. While galaxy drivers usually like to stick close to their galaxy because they don't want to have to trek to a dropship center to get a new one.

Question: How fast could 1 sunderer turret take out an AMS? what about 2?

Sunderers make AMS drivers cry, especally if the ams is stationary. AMS's can be a pain in the butt to kill if the sunderer has to chase him...

Those two 75mm guns tear through armored targets. They shoot fast and you can reload while firing. About the only thing that can take out an AMS faster than a sunderer is a heavy tank, and they won't take it out that much faster.

Thats my alternative, well maybe not right now, but when i eran another cert or2, i will switch from my reaver to a deliverer from time to time as i always do. But something i learned while in a convoy with a few sunderers, its not much faster than the big black truck. Really the deliv goes as fast as the sun, so not much difference besides if u get ambushed at a bridge (or theres a shitload of mines), u could just drive your deliv right off the edge into the water and get away, unlike the sunderer where you gota call out a guy with a few jamers. But the main reason why I like the deliverer better cause its a funner convoy vehicle, i mean u could have 2 delivers fully gunned which brings u to 6 guys, then have 2 lightnings and probly 2 bikes or 1 buggy (doesn't matter whic 1, but skygaurd would be most affective if a reaver or skeeter comes along). But i have no problem with the sunderer, I mean its one sexay bus, but when u drive under the underpasses inside a base, u tend to skinn the cieling.....


But the sun is kool as i said, u should see me drive that coner with a shitload of debry right on the corner too, oh yea, i should be a bus driver wen i grow up!

I love to mine bridges... my favorite thing to do. I laugh my butt off when i blow up deliverers. I always think, "Why in the hell didn't they take the water?...isn't that why they picked the deliverer?"

It woudn't be as strange, if it didn't happen often. All i gota say to those deliverer drivers... THANK YOU!

Especially when you have a full crew.

Grab the skeet, suns are very cool and all, but skeets are just crazy good. most pilots fly way high and get blown up. I always fly NOE, and any missle locks are quickly lost through hills or trees, not to mention you can almost hover directly over an nme vehicle, so it won't be able to touch you

Go with the Sunderer and create a new character for piloting. Skeeter is more useful soloing and the Sunderer is more useful if you gotta move an entire squad around really fast and you got MAXs to support. So it really depends on your roll.
