Okay, i'm on the official site's Leaderboard, and I see these people with points up in the hundred thousands and on up. How do they do that? Is there some tactic I'm missing, or do they just play for like 6 hours a day? How do you rack up the big points
(cheap tactics suggestions welcome ) I'm NC, use the Phoenix and snipe a lot, and can hold my own in a fight. I'm br8.0 and cr0.9. |

It is when a massive group of players from the same empire get together to cap a base and then they move across the cont capping as many bases as possible. It is a good (if a little boring) way of racking up exp. (Playing 6 hours a day doesn't hurt either )

With the ability of the enemy to spawn at a hacked base now it isn't to hard for your squad to get a few kills in order to get the exp.

Don't need kills to get cap XP, just need to be there, thus why the zerg is so effective.
The best thing to do is predict where the Zerg is going, get there early, stand around in the SOI doing nothing... wait for the hack... stand around doing nothing... then leave to the next base before the cap goes. Do this on a properly deffended enemy base (and spend around 5-10 minutes there while the SOI is heavily populated) and it's a 5000 xp cap... everytime. I'm not even really a support slacker, but when I need a BR I'll solo and do exactly what I said above, works like a charm! PAX

Get a skeeter cert... Look on your map. Select a continent that is close to being poplocked or is poplocked and go wait in the gate til you get in. Once in check your map again. Look for bases that have a hack in progress and the nme has the tower. Look for other things aswell like. Is the base nuetral? Is the gen down? Are the tubes down. The more screwed up a base is the better chances for a max 5000 xp hit to even be posible. Then spend as much time int he SOI as posible while nmee are there. Killing is optional and you can use that skeeter cert to get from base to base quickly. Check the map often and if you have a means of checking hart times you can recall and skip to another continent if circumstances are in your favor. But thats if you're into that sort of thing. To me it sounds kinda boring. But you gotta admit it's pretty easy.

I thought you actually had to DO something in order to get some xp from a base cap. I can remember getting like 50xp from a base cap when i didn't do anything (but that might have been because I just got there). Is xp determined by amount of kills or amount of time?
