So what you are saying is that it's the RAM. I have 256mb of Ram and I have the same problem. What your are saying is that I need atleast 512mb and it will work fine. I'll try it because the damn game is pissing me off with the lock up's.

Anyway, yeah. 256MB isn't really sufficient. If you pop more RAM in there you'll notice a major improvement in performance as well. But what video card do you have, off-hand?

I dont know man... I have 1 gig of DDR (400mhz) memory and an ATI Radeon 9500 Pro (128MB) video card -- I get the same kind of "lock ups". One minute I'm playing just fine and the next minute, BAM!! Screen is locked. Cant ALT + TAB. Cant ALT + F4. Have to actually power the PC down.

Anyone else getting these problems with a similar setup??
