I can tell ya zactly what happened.

picture a young man who has somehow aquired a gun. dads, moms, a friends...whatever. never really seen one up close.....too cool!

oh boy! cowboy time! (or I guess gansta would be more timely) and jams the loaded gun in his pants to do do a little "quick draw".
