Upgrade.
The system reqs on the box are the bare minimum to get the thing to run. To have great game play, you'll need just about double what it says.

At the minimum, make sure you have at least 1 gig of RAM.

Well, glad it works for you.
However, the most common cure for PS headaches is RAM, so I'm just trying to shortcut the process

Just curious, what vid settings do you run at?

oh well yea ur right that would be the best to do because most of PS problems could be solved with ram....

i run mine on custom....because it auto sets mine to like low, even though my video card can do better, so i run mine on custom

I thought PS ran well with 512 ram... but when I got another stick, WOW. It was like when everyone thought the quality between CDs and Cassettes was marginal... now after having CDs for a long time no one would ever go back to cassettes.

Now i know thats a big change. I already have 1 gig and when i was in the beta i had no hardware problems but just lag. And it is a difference when u switch from a 56k to cable. I would never go back to 56k even if it meant not having the internet.
