Is it just me or is the VS starting kick ass!! It seems they always win the daily battles on markov and emerald, and with the new pulsar upgrades, i think (i am new, i don't know all the weapons yet) it seems they have been taking people out a lot quicker!

I think more and more people are realizing the VS aren't as bad as percieved. When I say that, I'm not referring to the VS players per se. I'm referring to those who are trying to figure out what Empire they want to play. With the perception of "VS Weaps suck" I think many never even looked at VS.

All I can give is my opinion from being mainly a TR. The VS weapons are pretty brutal. The only NC weapon that I respect is the jackhammer. Whereas I respect all the VS weapons... Pulsar, Lasher, and Lancer. And as far as Maxes go, I know many Vanu think theirs suck, but again as a TR... I'd rather go up against a NC Max anyday than a Vanu Max.

The only "useless" thing the VS seem to have is the Thresher. It doesn't even come close to an Enforcer or Maurader IMO. But other than that I think they are a solid empire.

The VS were never bad... they were just always down in population, look at all the servers, most of them need VS

Yes, since the patch with the Pulsar upg. VS has been getting much much stronger with their medium assault weapons

Long range: Cycler Owns
Medium Range: Pulsar Owns
Short Range: Gauss owns

I love looting corpses of Barneys and taking their pulsars. The only problem is the ammo. I run out of energy ammo too quickly.

Yeah, the Vanu are the ultimate scavengers because they have access to all the standard stypes of ammo. The can get regular bullets, via suppressor and punisher, they can get shotgun shells, via sweeper, and they can get powercells from their own weapons.
