Their really is only one thing that has been bugging me about this game. However, since i made such a great deal of playing it up on The Lounge, my honor requires me to address this.

SWG was hyped quite a bit by Holo and the other devs. Things like zones of control, player-run cities, political proffessions, and vehicles/mounts.

These were some of the things that attracted the most attention to SWG. However, somewhere along the line the devs dropped ALL of those things from the release date.

This doesnt bother me too much, i understand some sacrifices need to be made to get the game out in time. The game still has a TON of content and is alot of fun.

No, what bothers me is that NONE of the devs are adressing the concerns of the people on the official boards. The devs made a BIG show of posting every day during Beta. They did this to build the impression of having a great community. Now, i see no posts. It bothers me.

--------------------------------------------

That being said, SWG IS a great game. Im enjoying it immensely and im very impressed with the launch. 99.5% of the bugs were SOMEHOW fixed in the last 2 days of Beta. The VERY FIRST DAY of launch the servers were bugged but after that the servers have been VERY stable and I have encountrerd NO game-breaking bugs. This is awesome when you consider the launches of UO, EQ, DAoC, AO, and others.

Overall I give a to the devs of SWG for making a great game but im a little bit like when the question arises as to "where the hell did all the PR between the devs and community go?"

Yeah, whenever I play I always feel like it's missing the true star wars feel. It really needs vehicles and mounts BTW. It's still fun. I must get to CH
