Maybe 5 min after pressing it will go out, just to make it a little harder for that gov to mobalize [sp?] [sp?!] Anyhow, this might cut down on the Chaos and make the gov more of an organized army any thoughts on this, might work out, any flaws u see? -TheDoughBoy DEV REPLY********************************888 SmokeJumperPS Station Admin Registered: Sep 2001 posted 12-31-2002 10:12 AM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's very easy to set up text macros in the game also. You just type "/macro XXXXX", where XXXXX is anything you want to type in a line, and that makes a shortcut you can slap into your hotbar for instant access. With these, you can customize commands far beyond the standard voice macro menu. For instance: You want a special "Rally to the Hilltop" command for use in a specific battle. Just type "/macro /squad Rally to the hilltop south of Gunuku Dropship Center!" and you will have easily created a single-button keypress that lets you tell your squad to rally to the hilltop south of Gunuku very easily. We give you lots of functionality like this. Of course, it's up to you to use it...but that shouldn't be a problem after you've had a few hours with the software. Commanders also have a lot of specialty chat channels they can use to talk to each other and help organize the chaos on a macro level. Then each commander can easily request reinforcements in their local area also, via continent-specific chat channels. http://boards.station.sony.com/ubb/planetside/Forum2/HTML/001144.html
