New veichle idea

There should be a veichle that is almost like a flying base. It should require a lot of certs to get and maybe be a high command rank. You could spawn there and spawn some veichles then air drop them. You could just drop out as normal infintry by going it a tube and it launches you out and actavates the little blue dealies wich take away falling damage. It couldn't move very fast and can be infultrated by enemy ships. There would problt be landing pads and an open side so you can drop out in vechiles and enemys can get in. I think it could be really cool.

sounds kind of cool. seems a bit unbalanced and maybe a little unnecessary, but i dunno it does seem nice.

Actually I like that idea. Just make it disgustingly slow, and give it the same HP as an AMS. Most of the time any watchful AA troop will solo kill that kind of unit.

I really don't like the idea as I think it would either be overpowered or underused. However, I could be convinced if it had a yamato cannon and they added a new voice macro that said, "Battle Cruiser Operational"

I would make a new thread for this, but that's spamming the boards, so I have my own vehicle idea...

A Neo-Galleon (Not the actual name). It's like a Galleon (you know, the battle ships with guns on the sides?) but New (hence the 'Neo'). What it would be is an 11 person Tank with 5 cannons on each side (1 driver, 10 gunners). It would drive into the battlefield and take down thousands of infantry troops (slight exaggeration)

Overpowered?

Here's the catch. ALL 11 people must be certified, this would kinda stop EVERYONE using it. So even gunners must spend points on using it. It would also be very slow, so vunerable to enemy AV weapons.

my idea:

Id like to see an air carrier that can't land, but comes with galaxy pads near the bottom decks to get things down and a loadstar pad (i can't wait til that thing comes out) and a new air veicle able to launch from the top, which is a big strech on one or more runways.

The new air veicle holds a shitload of weapons, but works like today's planes. It can stall and stuff, but can go pretty fast and drop a one or two shot load of bombs, some rockets from a pod or its chaingun that's slanted down. It would be great for attacking the ground, but can only hold ammo to strike once or twice and can be shot down really easily. The pilot will need to use his speed because a few shots from a skyguard will bring it down.

These new air veicles luanch from one or two little runways and land on either a road or the one landing runway on the carrier. These veicles cant move up or down or hover or anything so thats the only way they can land.

Instead of a complicated system to see if the planes stalling or not, it could just have a minimum speed. The planes are empire-specific and hold different weapons.'

TR: cluster bombs, pod of swarming missles and a minigun.
NC: large bomb, 2 or so large missles and a mini-cannon.
VS: targetable/controllable smart bomb, 2 or so lazer missle topredo things and a lazer.

How about a dropship a little smaller than a hart that lands, deployes and works like a amt? Theres enough room for people to spawn inside, get their equipment and then get out.
