Wow, downloading planetside and playing it for 7 days would just be stupid.... first it would be the biggest download ever, then you would have to download all the patches and crap, and by day7... your probably only br4 or sumthin near there, and you'll be like... crap this game sucks.. you need to buy the game and play it for awhile before you get used to it.

also, don't people that buy the game now have to download like 10 patches? - cuz that would take a long time

Hello people.
I am from Brazil and here this game doesn�t have a release date...
I played the beta a lot and the lag is not a problem in this game.
I am not a fileplanet subscriber, and when I was in the beta I wasn�t a subscriber either!
I want to know if someone can help me to get a trial key, just to taste the game a bit more. Someone that buyed the retail and is a fileplanet subscriber.
I am trying to import the game, but with the import taxes I am going to pay $150 for it! so it is inviable!
I am with the beta installed and I know that if I get an original cd-key I will play the game as I was with the retail. Because the beta becames retail in the end of the beta.

I am counting with your colaboration, please, understand that this is my last hope to play the game a little bit.

Massive Mulitiplayer Attempt to keep people playing on an epic scale

They know their player base is dropping fast and they are worried as hell. This is the reason they are doing this to try to spark an intrest to keep players in game.

Im pretty sure that if the game just updates the files instead of patching, no matter how many patches there were, someone can get them all in one download.

No, there are not a million patches a day. And no you don't have to download each patch individually. You download one update, that's it.

What this is is an attempt to get people to try the game. Not to keep them playing.
