Does it leave the people with zero stamina? It kind of makes it a bit hard to get the people back into action.
I mean you are under fire, a squad guy goes down, I revive him, now he has 0 stamina and walks very slow to get away then boom, he's down again with no hope of getting to cover. I would actually like to see my revive skill give the soldiers say 15 - 25 stamina for that little extra help. I mean in certain areas you cant heal the armour in time and let the recently revived guy find cover. I'm not up on the balancing issues or anything so this isn't an official forum style GIVE ME THE FEATURE OR I LEAVE thread, just after a bit of input on what adv medics think?

I think it take mad skills to be an AdvMedic. Yeah, you gotta go and try to rescue peeps. But, you must also stay alive in order to do it. Which means you may need to wait for better security of the imediate area.
When approaching your fallen comrade if in squad. You can look up at the squad bar and see everyones health and armor levels. If hte victim has low or no armor. I'd suggest repairing that before the revive procedure. Myself, i'd like to see a stim pack introduced. Giving either the user or the target (depending on balance issues) a small stamina boost. If it were a used item. I imagine it to be the size of a medkit. Only blue or something. Another, and posibly additional way is to have a stim cartrage for the medical applicator. |

I agree with Streamline, its hard to play the adv medic. The hardest part is not being able to see where someone fell. It's quicker for them to release in most cases, making adv limited to LoS. The upcoming 'radar' addition for medics will make a huge difference, I think it'll change the game in many ways truthfully. Less time cloggin up spawn tubes for one..

Or more importantly right now in my eyes. Is the giving away of AMS positions. Theres way too many ppl releasing and spawning at AMS' Then theres a feeding frenzy at the back of the AMS and everytime someone comes out the cloak bubble the AMS is partially visable. Making it incredibly easy for enemy units to seek it out and and turn everyone nearby into personal hand puppets.
Not to stray to far off topic. I'm retracting any past statment on Lodestars being able to carry AMS'. With the onset of so many CR5s and orbital strikes. Plus the Liberator teams in full swing. Air support/superiority takes on a whole new meaning. |

most of my outfit agrees that ADV medic is the most useless cert in the game, unless uroperating in a really organized squad, where u have instant communication to tell ur m8s hey im down i need revive. I've only been revived once, that was when we were knife fighting each other.
