The purpose of this thread is to organize vacations. This way, if someone is going to where you live or 2 of you are going to the same spot, a real life encounter may be possible.
State where you live and where you are going. The 1337 will also post any connecting flights. I live in: Miami, Florida, USA Going to: Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Possible connecting flights: Houston (unlikely). Now, for example, let's say that Squeeky is also going on vacation to Cancun. Perhaps we could run into each other at, oh, say, the ruins of Tulum. It's that simple. Post away.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

A real vacation would be great ... unfortunately mine are going to be spent going to family functions within a few hundred miles of here. Maybe next year I will get to roam the country a little. So, until then I'll just have to live vicariously off the rest of you ... therefore, take me to some good places.

King Salmon, Alaska. My family owns half that town and the Naknek, only a few miles away. Also where the Alaskan taco shop (a few people will remember that) is, where I worked for a few months. Easy stuff, worked with knives, mostly, so I was good at it. Let's see, five hour drive from here (Cottonwood, uptheassofnowhere, California) to Sacremento, twelve hours total flight time, with two-hour layover in Seattle.

Leaving Albany, NY on the 8th of September for Fond du Lac, Wisconsin (hometown). I'll be there for 10 days and come back on the 18th.
