I use Adobe Premier for editing. I have a ATI 8500 video card with video out. I have my video out run to a vcr where I record the video.. then I have a cord running from the back of my vcr, to a video capture card I bought a little bit ago, then I edit the video in premier. My movie was 1.9 gig, till miir showed me a program called "Windows Media encoder". It made it look better, and brought it all the way down to 30 meg, instead of 1.9 gig. :-)
