WOW - go to that link, its this kid trying to seel this comp game that he says is better than planetside!! He said it in his title... this guys an idiot seller!!

What kind of hardware and software will be required to play Neocron?

The requirements to play Neocron are:

� A Pentium 2 processor or higher

� At least 32 megabytes of RAM (128 recommended)

� A Direct 3D compliant 3D card, at least as fast as Voodoo2 Graphics by 3DFX

� A 56.6 modem (Internet connection is obviously required) � Neocron client program

� Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000/XP

� DirectX 7 or higher

Please note that these are currently only estimations and are subject to change as game development progresses.

Haha! that's funny. I find in MMOGs graphics are the lifeline to immersing yourself in the world, not all the time, but it helps a great deal., no matter what you're playing. With the current standard for games going up, games with crapass graphics have no place on the market, it may have amazing potential, but the first thing people see are graphics and many people won't touch this with a 10 foot pole. MMOGs are all about people, if there weren't people just go play morrowind for a couple hours a day, or a 15, 16 hour stretch (many EQers know what that's like, lol).

Now, i haven't seen any screens of the game itself, never bothered to look, but if a game only requires 32megs of ram and a voodoo2 to run, there's something not right.

If he at least compared it to another MMORPG like EQ or SWG but planetside isn't one. I think he's just jealous that Planetside > Neocron.

Neocron kinda sucks, alot.
Not cause of its near 90 degree learning curve, nor its crappy settings. But the people in the game itself.

Neocron and PLanetside are equally good, but the dog tags for planetside make it better. Therefore:

Planetside = Neocron

Planetside + Dog Tags >Neocron
