Will Ps Work On This Computer

I was wanting to know will this computer play planetside
ChainTech 7NIL1 400fsb 8x agp
AMD Athlon XP 2200 XP
Prolink Geforce fx 5200 128 mb ddr 8x agp
512 2700 333mhz DDR Brandname
40 gb 7200 rpm hard drive
56k modem .. yes i know .. but i cant get nothing else im to far away.. so im stuck with it ..and have been playing games on 56k for years ..if i stay out of the big battles ..and stuff can planetside be played on a 56k ??? i dont see why not .. i have played counter strike,ut2003,quake3,RTCW,Tribes2,jk2 outcast. and alot more with little lag ...

well first off planetside is a different beast SOE hosts the servers and is the only ones who can while the games u listed are hosted by ppl and hosting companies now u have atleast 512mb of ram which is good but your video card might hold you back quite a bit and if u want to know about ps and 56k ask powdahound

Agreed. The video card is good for now, but look to upgrading it in the future with an ATI 9500pro or GeForce4 TI 4400.

i ran it with 512 until i added another stick of 333ddr ram to make it a a gig.

It helped a ton.

ok .. so i can play planet side on a modem and 512 megs of ram .. if i turn all gfx settings down and stay out of large battles ... maybe sniper or something ????
