How can I get the graphic for my Sig which shows my kills etc?

I notice a lot of people here have that image. How can you get it? I checked planetsidegaming.com and such, but to no avail. Any help would be great, thanks.

Follow the directions and they'll give you the URL of your own custom image.

The instructions on planetsidegaming are very good. Read a little slower, try to absorb it. It will work.

Yah, I didn't like PSG's either But yours is a wee bit cramped to read; I found I didn't care for a list of my certs on it anyway.

It's not working for me either. I have done this before, so it's not that I am reading it too fast as ajohn505 inferred. It doesn't display your image/sig when you enter the URL from SOE's site (myplanetside.com). Weird. I know I am doing it right too. Like I said just a moment ago, I have done it before. Hmmmm. Has anyone tried that site lately to see if it's perhaps not working right now? I believe something is up because it's not giving me the "png" file.

p.s. I am curious on how to make those "unique" sigs w/ stats. What does it take to create? I am not very s/w savi, so does it take some progamming? Or is there a "for dummies" version/method? I want to be unique like you.....oh the irony in that statement...gotta love it.

Well, as for my method (can't speak for the other guy, but it looks similar) you need a graphic artist to make you the background, a webhost to store the stuff at (webhost must be running PHP with GD 1.6 or higher), some PHP and how to parse sites or XML

Nothing too complicated...


I just tried PSG now. Works fine. Make sure your URL looks like this:
http://myplanetside.station.sony.com...434&worldId=16

'cuz there's another way it can be formatted on different pages (for some odd SOE reason) and the other way breaks it.

Ya, I tried it too just now.... It works again. I guess there must have been a server issue at the time. Thanks for the input Damodred. Sounds too complicated for my wee lit'l brain. It sounds like I would need someone to show me, and I know that isn't going to happen . Thanks anyways.
