You'll need more than 512 dude. Suggest a Gig of ram. Good ram can be found at http://www.crucial.com. Look for PC2700 DDR or PC3200 DDR based on your mobo specs.

You really need to find out what kind of ram your mobo supports. Which is dependany on the kind of cpu you have and what chipset the mobo uses.

You shouldn't get any RAM until you know what kind your Mother Board supports. Your computer's mother board is unique in which type of RAM it will accept. Not just any RAM will do.

Check the manufacturer's website for more information on it.

It depends if your computer can support DDR ram or not. I recently got soem Kingston RAM, but had to get DIMM cuz my computer didnt support DDR ram. You may want to look into that.
