Verg -or- Zerg? A "zerg" is a term derived from the game Starcraft, where the Zergs were individually weak, but generally won by flooding the field with a whole shit load of things very quickly. Hence, whenever a faction has a "Zerg" going, they're flooding the field with an overwhelming number compared to the enemy. Or something like that.

Well, it refers to an alien race that uses massive swarms of troops to win.

In PlanetSide, this means a massive swarm of troops attacking to win.
Zerging is bad beacuse-
Lag.
Lag(x2)
Newbs
Griefers
Lamers
Idiot commanders

It's an Anti-Tactical way of fighting using the theory that-

"If we attack with 500 troops, and 50 AMSes, then we can rock!"

and encourages the opposing theory

"If we defend the base with 500 troops, and 50 AMSes, then we rock!

yeah I hate zerg's
I have had to place some CR5's on ignore because of there flooding to do ZERG's, I agree it is a tactic that is not actually a tactic.
It seems that's all they want to do on the Johari server, and if I do not do the ZERG then I am always outnumbered, which is not good unless your good and that I am not, just lucky
