Why aren't there more tank squads?

Seriously i think there should be more tank sqauds the people who drive obiously have some certs. and there is a large need for more vehicles with good drivers if you ask me.

I'm the reason why. I answer Vanguards with lots of mines, and lots of Decimators.

Xxzard, what is the "need" for tanks or vehicles? The battle is won or lost inside. My outfit and I have spent many of times in a 5-vanguard tank squad... It is a little bit of fun, but none of our actions determine the outcome of any battle at any base. It is the squad that drops into the back door from a galaxy at 400m and is inside in an instant that determines the outcome of the battle.

all base caps start outside though.

if you can camp the tower with tanks, blow the ams with tanks, you can easily hold off attacking forces for quite a while.

i usually play around 6pm pst or so. im always on the psu irc server too

There's just no need to specialise. You gain BR quickly enough that you can play grunt and/or infil AND have a tank and/or aircraft when you want one.

Tanking just doesn't offer enough to do it exclusively, although I'll grant the odd mass-armour battle might be fun Maybe after the new base-capping gets included.

The best battle I've been in was actually outside a base, it happened on a bridge, and all vehicels were used, in the end it was the Vangaurds that decided the "who got the bridge" If Lodestars were available for that battle then the Lodestar would have won it. That battle went on and on, It was a "Bridge too far" all over again, but this time Planetside style
