good idea?

people are always saying no one defends the bases
a) because its too hard
b) theres no point

well, what about if, to fix b, they made it so that for ever, say, 5 minutes that you were defending a base [ie, ur in its SOI] you get 1000XP or something.

As for A, well, make more guns eplacements everywhere, and for god sakes, why do they leave the courtyard doors open? why not shut them, and they take a fuck load of damage to take down?

Wouldn't Work

I don't think that it would work that way because of 1 reason. AFK or people who are doing nothing will get thousands of xp for doing nothing.

I always defend bases and there is no excuse of it being to hard.

You do get two things out of defending a base, if the base is hacked and you resecure and it is alot of fun. To me there is nothing more exciting in PS than standing on a wall trying to beat back a hundred attackers.

eh but at the moment, if you get caught against an enemy zerg, your screwed, and when you get to the point you cant even get out of the spawn room, then its not fun. plus, theres no point in staying, so you might as well go join your zerg bttling somewhere else. there has to be some sort of insentive for your zerg to stay there if they no an enemy zerg is coming. zerg on zerg battles are fun!

I think a CR4/CR5 should be able to hit some sort of 'panic' button in the base, shutting the spawn tubes down when the enemy is camping them and initiating some sort of random spawn where you spawn at a random point in/around the base. Sure, you still only have your supressor but you've got a chance at surviving and being effective. Every person spawning would spawn somewhere different each time. It doesn't make sense in the 'storyline' since spawn tubes are needed supposedly, but it would make defending a lot more fun. You could go for the vehicle term and try to make it out with AMSs, or you could zerg with supressors blazing and try to take the spawn room back.
