Author Topic: Will there be an in-game mp3 player?
Belgirion Station Member Registered: Jan 2002 posted 01-04-2003 07:24 PM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope so, because it's a real pain in the butt to have to alt-tab out to change tracks *** Is this a yes, a no or a future patch?**** SmokeJumperPS Station Admin Registered: Sep 2001 posted 01-05-2003 02:03 PM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our music tracks are currently MP3...however they are NOT guaranteed to stay in that format, and that's why we never mentioned it as a feature. Possibly though. burne87 Station Member Registered: Jul 2001 posted 01-05-2003 02:30 PM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If the in-game tracks remain MP3, would we just replace the in-game music by renaming music we like and sticking it in a folder, or would there actually be a functioning type mp3 player? SmokeJumperPS Station Admin Registered: Sep 2001 posted 01-05-2003 02:45 PM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Probably replacing them with the existing name...initially. A full-blown MP3 interface would be a nice thing that we could add after release, possibly. http://boards.station.sony.com/ubb/p...ML/001234.html

HAHA you beat me to it. I bet he just walked out. That would blow nads to work hard on a soundtrack for a game just so smacktards could swap it out with their Nelly or Manson cd or "cool" music.

Well If they can make a big enough soundtrack for those +10 hour playing streaks Im planning on then they deserve some credit. But when my +24 hour playlist gets old after a little while I can help to think that a small 1-2 hour sound track is going to get boring after the first day...
