Could we have a summary please.

I will repost the reasons why :

Alot of people frequent at these boards because either
1. they dont like the Official boards
2. The dont have access to the official boards
3. They prefer the community here
4. They like lots of boards.

Now the first 2 kinds of ppl listed here make up a big chunk of PSu.. might I suggest you re-post your suggestions in here as opposed to forcing people to go to the official forums to view it, that is if you wanted thier oppinions, which Is the only reason I can see of you posting in here.

Yep I am category 2. darn work blocked all access to sony... go figure! (no i dont work for microsoft! :P )

I don't really consider it an exploit... always thought it was intended to work that way and have done it too many times to count, however, making bases harder to drain, both purposely and via normal usage, would be an improvement.

This isn't an exploit. Learn what an exploit is before you accuse people of cheating. The official site is loaded with ignorant whiners and I wish you wouldn't infect these boards with their disease.

Maybe bases shouldn't be able to be drained so fast, maybe the devs intended it that way. Who knows. But right now, its a valid tactic. Saying that its an exploit or bug, is like saying that the decimator's ability to kill a MAX in 2 shots is an exploit. It ain't!

Personally, I think it might be good to make the matrixing panels not repair so fast, but faciltiy warnings should be kept as is.

Either way, the devs are adding capture the flag, (against the customers wishes) so you won't have to whine about the drainers anymore.

Seriously, how I first found out about it was by reading a thread on the official forums where someone was asking how to force a base neutral... someone responded (well into it) saying that by their tests the matrixing panels seemed the most effective. I never felt guilty and still don't.

Just like the hart / find waypoint exploit to get into locked conts
Everyone knows the exploit to drain a base in 3 to 5mins without killing gens, without killing tubes, without killing terms. Camp the matrix panels and keep killing them.

They repair themself within secs drain the ntu big time. The enemy has no warning, just 5mins later on the map bases are all netural. Unlike killing gens or tubes.

Will the dev plz make a offical post that they know about this major exploit as well as the hart exploit and that they fixing them?

VS on markov drop all of forseral in less than 30mins to prove the point. Later they did it to searhus. It's a message for the devs to plz fix it.

PLZ FIX THE EXPOITS THX U!

There you go

wow grats on 2 months ago.

this matrix panel drain is stupid. they repair so incredibly fast that even if you could repair em, you can't.

you work hard to cover flanks and push the enemy back only to have ONE person drop behind your push and drain a base in a few minutes.

that's shit.

From that same thread in the offical forums. It's obviously not what the devs intended in gameplay. I'm glad it's being addressed soon.

Dang. You beat me to it MarsMan. I was just about to share what you posted. Oh well, it is good to see that they are addressing it. It's a very annoying exploit.

Yeah, I've never seen this exploit happen myself but it seems really bad and just cheap. Maybe they could make the panels go into shut down mode if they are blow up 5 minutes after they where repaired and they won't repair for several minutes later and repair slower. If you think about it, how could little tiny panels cause an entire base to shut down? I would think all the other terminals and turrets being blown would cause more damage and more likly chance of NTU depletion. I would also think that destroying the genertor would cause an even bigger lose of NTU. Oh well, they'll probably fix it, I hope so....
