Every race complains about the other races' zerg. The truth is that every empire has a huge zerg of totally retarted people who dont know what they are doing. THIS IS THE FLAW IN MMOFPS. IT PUTS IMBOSILS AND PEOPLE WITH HALF A BRAIN, AND MAYBE EVEN A FEW SMART PEOPLE TOGETHER!

That was the beauty, and only beauty, behind other online FPS's. They used rounds and clan segregated servers, so that each clan could use it's own server to have matches, and wouldn't have to worry about others slowing them down who are newer to the games concepts and playstyle. You want a way to perfect Planetside? Make this a possible option. Outfits will be able to practice in these small, seperate servers with a limited map library, but will make the players much more focused on their teamwork and battlefield tactics, rather than who has which continent, which i couldn;t give a shit about because there is no incentive behind it anyways. So fuck it,work together, and give the option of opening public and private small practice servers open to the SOE online community. It will change this game.

WOAH! Simmer down, if you get any more pleasent you'll explode and shower us all with your friendly juice and sweety chunks.

Most of the people playing Planetside want to play with masses of other gamers, in fact that prospect is what drew most of them to buying the game in the first place. There is always going to be "zerging" in Planetside, because there are always going to be players who want to follow the crowd for a few easy caps, or just experience the manufactured thrill of a huge simulated battles. There are never, going to be more traditional smaller servers for small teams of players to engage each other on, because thats exactly what every prior first person shooter has done, and thats the exact opposite of what the creators of Planetside intended.

And lets say hypothetically, that there were a server where your outfit could "practice" on. You would eventually get back to play on the larger servers, and all your practice would get swept down the drain as you got crushed by the enemy "zerg", or your efforts would mean little as you would be a drop in the ocean as friendly "zerg" swept the enemy.

Planetside isnt the best first person shooter out there, and it wouldnt stand up on a smaller, more traditional, server very well, not for long anyway, because there are other games that do that much better. Planetside is an experience different from typical first person shooters, its a simulated war, and in a war there are going to be "PEOPLE WITH HALF A BRAIN" and "A FEW SMART PEOPLE," the same as in life. Find contentment in your small part in that war, whether you destroy an enemy AMS, causing them to falter just long enough to give your side the edge, or your squad takes a tower thats proves an integral point in a later victory.

Well, either that or just...

yea, see, people from texas know whats going on, or atleast, people that put texas in their name, texas pride, and individual servers for outfits, god, go play BF1942 and go camp for planes noob, the great part of Zergs is that, A) Easy EXP B) when zergs collide, your not gonna find a better battle and thats the fun part of Planetside, the big battles

Aaaactually I've been kicking around an idea when it comes to outfit competition in PS but I really don't have the time to type it out from work. Maybe when I got home, but then I'll either be playing Planetside or Starscape (downloadalbe game from some no name company and probably the most fun I've had with a non pay to play game this year). So my genius ideas (quit laughing, you bastards ) may never see the searing, painful light of day
