The Qmax was a decent max till it was nerfed. Then came the Lasher. Soon enough NC and TR will come after our Magrider. They want stop until we are nerfed to the stone ages and there are only two empires left. All you have to do is watch the VS numbers dwindle on a nightly basis. The numbers don't lie.

Yep it's back to what it used to be, vanu are pretty much needed on all servers now from what I can tell. History has kind of repeated itself, when this game first realised in May VS where needed on every server for a very long time. Then with the lasher bump VS got alot more recruits and the NC population went down the most. Now that the lasher and the other patches it's going back to the release poplutation. Hopefully soon they'll do something to get all the populations equal but I know that they won't be perfect.

I don't know if it will or not, since all three empires can get the high tech vanu weapons...If they put in empire specific equipment then maybe it will happen.

um how will that core combat change anything ... its all common pool

and hes right about the numbers .. but who cares every1 that left vanu are just little babies :: points to Pyrrus :: the lasher is still nice and it tears up inf with no difference

I doubt this will happen. Very few people are complaining about the magriders (but they do hate them) and do you really think just cause the lasher isn't as strong anymore people are going to change sides and stuff. I for one don't think so even after the patch came out I've seen very many lashers and a lot of people getting killed by them. Also there aren't that many magriders.

Its interesting because after the Lasher buff us NC were kinda despairing because of our very low population all of the sudden. Well I actually liked it, getting rid of all those bandwagon noobs but on to the point. So the first few days we fought we were getting seriously owned on emerald. Then as the days progressed we kept getting better and better. In the last week we have been doing pretty much the same if not better than before the lasher buff and I was having lots of fun, because we weren't having our victories attributed to the jackhammer constantly. Now this and all the previous jackhammer noobs that are now Lasher noobs are leaving Its unclear where they are going yet but I hope they spread it out between TR and NC.

This is why I LOVE being the Terrans. We are nearly NEVER needed on any servers. We are never being cussed out for overpowered weps (cept for the pounder, but we have to fuckin anchor for it to be good, so it all works out). And the TR has one of the lower n00b populations due to this (we all have n00bs tho). Heck, the only complaint I have about the terrans is that you have to anchor your max to be any good. I think the terrans have one of the least effective MAX special abilities. Think about the Vanu: They kickass, jumping over walls, on to towers, etc. Or the NC: Sure, their sheild turns off when you fire, but you just wait until the nme is reloading, then you unload on him! Then there is the TR: See NME. Spend 2 seconds anchoring down. Fire at nme. Have nme behind you kill you with decimator. But personally, it doesnt bug me, I LOVE being TR and will never change, and I am sure there are others out there just like me! Long live the TR!

Really the only problem with the Vanu is you have to be more inventive with their strategies, and most FPS players dont want to do that, they want to charge in, guns blazing.

(btw, i play ALL 3 empires, so I kinda know what im talking about)

u forgot 1 thing about the nc shield. eveytime it gets hit the capicator lowers quickerthen if u were just standing there.

I think that the empires are the cloest they've ever been to complete balance. We (Vanu) have lived with low population before and we still held our own. We just need to accept the fact that the other empires will have more people then us. To me from the looks of it, it's all about skill now. The noobs will fade away and the skilled players will stand out. Long Live the Lasher!!!

Ok, i love the TR too, but you cant say our maxes suck. Our maxes own the VS and NC maxes. The scattercannon is no match for the pounder, nor the Falcon for the DC, but the burster isnt as good as the sparrow.

The Quasar max owns also, just not as much as the pounder. The comet and starfire suck balls.
