I hate the MagRider

I'm not a hateful person, nor am I angered by much at all in Planetside, but I hate the MagRider more than stepping in cat puke.

1: The strafing action and hitbox issues of the MagRider are nothing but abusive under a Client-Side Hit-Detection system.

2: The MagRider is the only tank that is effective enough to be worth 3 credits when driven without a gunner.

3: The damnable MagRider is the premier hovercraft for delivering the LLU, forcing enemy forces to patrol an entire beach instead of waiting at predictable bridge-crossings.

4: Who the hell would take Lightning over MagRider for the same credits? Before you answer, I'm sure there are some of you, I just don't get it.

I certainly can't blame you guys who drive this tank, anyone with half a brain would jump at the chance. This isn't a petition to make changes to this tank's design; I suspect those changes will be made in due course.

I still prefer to one-shot infantry from 100 meters away, thank you very much.

This is actually a new form of warfare. Rather than defeating the Vanu on the battlefield, these people have choosen to defeat them outside the game by stripping them of their best gear. "wtf Quasar is too powerful", "Lasher needs nerfing! omg!", and now "Magmower runs me over too easy!"

Way to be tactical!

Just because you're ignorant of problems with the game doesn't mean the problems don't exist. While I'm not saying that absolutely all game balance changes ever conducted on PS have been completely justified and done with the utmost of precision, but at least two of the issues you mocked in your statement -- the MagRider certainly being one -- were or are genuine issues. If you cannot realize that, it's a failure on your part to stay objective in your assessment of the game, nothing more.

Yeah...what -he- said...

Step awayyyy from the easy kills, stop being greedy, and observe. You'll become slightly enlightened, I promise.

OMG, u people have problems! If you don't stop whining and complaining, there's probably not going to be any VS left! I should start a forum to whine about the Vanguard, Jackhammer, Prowler and Chaingun to get them nerfed so everything can be even again! OMG!

And the Vanu counter to this is to downplay all their strengths and stake claims of inferior weaponry.

I never thought about that. Good thing not all the bases have the LLU

I just think the NC and TR empires got used to being overpowered and now that they aren't, they must nerf everything to get back to that status.

The TR have never been used to being overpowered becouse they never where.

Edit: Ok, in the beginning the pounder was a little overpowered, but that's fixed now.
