How about these ideas.
Vehicles - A Minelayer/Mine Sweeper. Hacking-Hack generators to be able to turn them off Weapons-Laser Sniping Rifle, Deployable/undeplyable .50 Cal turrents (I'd even settle for 20mm) Base Weapons-Missle Turrents Flammey - Emerald "Damn. Lock the keys in the ANT again." |

Jesus H. CHRIST. First, never spell "turrets" with an "n" ever again. Why the hell does everyone think turrets has an "n"?
Now that the important thing is out of the way, the second thing to address is you can use the "user cp" to put your signature in it, so you don't have to manually type it out every time. Finally, I'd have to say your changes are rather "meh". They wouldn't really add any new depth to the game, and I don't think that things should be added just for the thing's sake. The exception is the minelayer; that might be interesting, if it weren't for the fact that a skilled Combat Engineer could lay a field of mines in moments already.

Sorry masta
Never do it again masta Turrets are coo masta I like typin' things out masta Not changes masta, new things I'd like to see added masta Yes, I can lay mines really fast. However, that 20 mines max kinda rules out mining too much, which I guess is a good thing. But me, I like to mine bridges, and you figure, there are sometimes, what? 3, 4 bridges a continent, if any? So that's only like 5 mines a bridge. SO what kind of pattern do you use for a layout? I usually use a diamond, square or zig zag pattern, to keep vehicles from being able to get by easily. But hey, it's only ideas to think of. Flammey - Emerald "I like typing." |

Dont try too hard to lay mines a vehicle cant get around, if it sees em it'll just shoot them anyway, wasting all your mine laying work. Mines only really work when poeple dont notice them, and ones on bridges are easy to spot. Either end of the bridge is better IMO, on the dirt/grass/road.

yeah laying them in a road or just off it is much better then a bridge, were they can be seen.
I've been experementing with turrets lay out, were one would need to be to shoot or destroy a spitfire, another one is there to cover it. I do how ever set spitfires in locations to better spot infiltrators, they work as early warning on those trying to sneak in all cloaked. I seem to forget about setting sensors I guess if you really want to watch your mines in action, just get a infiltraion suit, CE, and AMS, find a spot everyone travels (some maps you just gotta take the road) set camp with the AMS and just keep planting all 20 mines, guess you really wouldn't need infil if you have AMS, you could just hide in there. grab your lounge chair and a ice chest of your favorite drinks, and watch could get boring, but you have your supply of mines to restock, and not be able to be seen |
