I think I read somewhere that the Switchblade is a buggy. I found a pic of it and it sure dosen't look like one. Can someone confirm what the switchblade is?

Edit: if any of you are interested, I got that pic from this gallery

Sure looks like a buggy type vehicle.

I just wonder about the word "Deployed"

I read somewhere that there was going to be a teleport vehicle as well... could be pretty kewl!

New alien technology will be introduced, including a new hover buggy called the switchblade, a new support vehicle that creates neutral teleporters known as the router, and a mobile artillery unit called the flail.
Cool. They said it can create teleports that soldiers can use, and it might go with the AMS cert. I'm also interested in the Flail, mobile artilery?

So the switchblade will be like the tele gun in UT I guess?

Here is a pic of the flail. I didn't know this was artillery. Cool!

They're all hover vehicles becouse this expansion has everything discovered as ancient Vanu weapons and vehicles, there for they hover, like the MAGmower

Edit: And Jaged, in that pic the Flail is UNdeployed, it says so on the pic

here's what interests me,

The difference here is that each of the six caverns will contain an energy device. To capture it, you'll have to generate an empty container at an outfit-controlled base. Then you'll take that container underground to capture one of the energy modules, bringing it back to your base for a capture. Each device has a different effect. For example, one of the weapon module's features is that it will lower the time it takes for a player to reacquire a MAX suit after losing one in battle. Other modules will have an effect on vehicles, and there will also be fortifier, energy, and defender modules.
All of this sounds cool but, I guess outfitbases will be added before the expansion.

Maybe I read the Gamespot article wrong, but it sounded like there was three vehicles, the Switchblade, the Teleport shit, and then the Artillery. I was hoping the Switchblade be more like the Threshar...but I guess anything that can smash VS will work for me.
