Overall a good interview, but, this 1 Q/A irks me.

JB: How about plans for additional weapons and �things to be certified in�?

DG: Absolutely. A lot of them. Huge gluts of those would occur whenever we�re going to do an expansion pack, we�ll also trickle things out for free download, like we did with the Liberator and the SkyGuard.

He makes it sound like we were lucky enough to have these 2 vehicles passed onto free to us. I seriously think they're really going to short change us when it comes to free downloadable content.

The first Everquest expansion was a year, PS was less than 6 months. I will still buy it, as it sounds great, but man, if you're going to screw me in the ass at least give me a reach around.

JB: Someone said PlanetSide was supposed to have three squad platoons a while ago but no mention has been made since the game came out. Is that still being worked on?

DG: Platoons are going to be in the game. They�re not currently being worked on. But they will be in the game. We promised them, and they�ll get there.

The interview was pretty good actually. Except the part that made it sound like we were getting a nice parting gift for paying 13 dollars a month for playing Planetside.

"Oh, here's your 2 free vehicles, we just didn't feel like adding these to the expansion, they're yours for free!"

Well, he could just mean that they are going to be introduced with the expansion, but you wont neccesarily have to pay to use them, after all you need the same files to be shot at as to do the shooting (i think) so it wouldn't make any sense denying you that. The expansion just gets you into the new areas.
