Can sanctuarys be attacked?

i was just wonderin if an enemy could enter a sanctaury if all the continents connected to the sanctuary were taken. And if you could nter the sanctuary would you be able to take it, maybe thats why they have towers in the sanctuary. I also have seen an enemy in the sanctuary before, we couldnt attack him and he couldnt attack us, maybe he hacked it or somedin. I actually have a pic of him in the sanc, but i dont know how to post. I was just wonderin though if sanctauries could be attacked.

At the moment no, but it has been an idea that's been around for awhile. We may see that option in the future.

Not as of yet. It's an idea that many have been excited about, myself included. After thinking about it though I really don't think it would add anything to the game unless by doing a Sanc strike you accomplish something major. Just having the ability to go into the Sanc and kill people doesn't appeal to me all that much.

IDEA:

Hacking into the sanc takes 1 hour.

Once the sanc is hacked, Players from that Empire may not respawn (Anywhere) for the next 3 hours on that server.

*Notes* Sancuatiries are incredibly heavily gaurded. and only possible to get to by obscure transport (Hard to find, expensive to certify etc.)

The point of SOE making this game is to get more subscribers and make money, not lose both.

I always thought Sanctuary strikes were dumb anyway. They are likely going to serve no purpose other than to give your side bragging rights in a derogatory manner akin to pissing all over the head of your fallen adversary.

And getting "pissed on" and mocked and ridiculed because you couldn't defend your own sanctuary(which is supposed to be safe)is a good way for people to motivate themselves to find other FPS games they don't have to pay $13/month for.

im already revoking my contributions to SOE's coffers because the game is turning into ass. you want to make it even worse and not let people play AT ALL? ingenious. this is exactly why i was against sanc strikes in the first place. camped sanc spawns: nowhere else to spawn. you cant even log out, because you cant get the game menu.

I never said it was a GOOD idea :P

Seirously though, I didn't even think about what I was saying for five minutes. You're right. That's the freaking stupidest idea I've ever heard.

God, I'm an idiot.

The only thing that would make me accept sanc strikes would be no resuplys only 50 - 100 enemys in sanc. No respawns for them, they cant hack any terminals. Basicaly a one shot deal.even after reclaiming a cont so the ock is restored a few enemys may stil lbe in the sanc wreaking havok.

Hit your windows key or press alt+tab. Press cntrl+alt+delete to open the task manager. Select Planetside.exe. Click the end task button. Ta-daa you're out. Works like a charm, believe me I know since I have to do it about every 5-10 minutes.

I don't want to attack Sanctuaries, just be able to enter tham, to say that I have. I'll have to try walking into the warpgates tomorrow morning.
