I've noticed some engineers placing boomers next to their mines and I was wondering if it really made the explosion more powerful and is this tactic successful for you.
I haven't had time to really test it to see for myself. It makes the mines more obvious which isn't good against infantry and I figure it could only really be effective against vehicles in the long run. The other night I found one of our bases had the courtyard littered with mines and each mine had one to four boomers placed next to it. Was a lot of fun walking thru the courtyard with my Thumper dropping jammer nades on them. Took me 6 boxes of ammo to clear the place out. Someone really wasted a lot of time setting that all up. |

Yeah only jammers set mines off into an explosion. I wish that explosions would set them off, that way they would be more effective against the enemy and would even better to use since boomers can be right next to each other.
