The first time i ever played planetside it was so great then after about 5 minutes of play it all of a sudden freezes so i minimize planetside and an error message pops up say that windows has detected and recovered from a fatal error please reboot your computer for full functionality and when i press ok the desktop is crammed up againnst the top of my moniter what going on?

Have you tried playing the game since then? It may have been a one time deal. As for the desktop getting "crammed up". Do you run Planetside at a different resolution than what your desktop is at? A lot of times games run better at lower resolutions than your desktop and if you do that, when the game crashes it will sometimes leave the desktop at the games resolution making it look all bloated and pixelized. Usually just right clicking on the desktop, go to properties and changing the resolution back fixes that bit of it.

no what happens is that the resolution is bigger than what i put it at(1024and768) and then i can only see half of the screen and the rest of it is all black and nothing works i think it was a computer problem not the game se i bought a sony vaio at best buy but it was a floor model so what i think they did is switched the video and sound cards out for crapper ones and i think the computer was all F**KED up. i ordered a compaq off costco.com here check the specs for me.
